dc.description.abstract | The research: “Educational technology project management competency in Ho
Chi Minh city” explored the required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities to effectively
manage Education technology projects in Ho Chi Minh city by using the mapped KSA
– PMBOK guide model. This research used mix method including qualitative and
quantitative methodologies resulting in lists of top knowledge, skills and abilities in
terms of necessity rated by current practitioners and lessons learned from precedented
experts. As this is the first Vietnamese Edtech competencies research, it paves the way
for deeper researches in terms of Edtech competencies by departments, locations and
plays as a foundation base of knowledge for researchers to explore further into the myth
of Educational technology project management in Ho Chi Minh. For future managers,
this is a reference of competencies for Edtech project management roles in the
