dc.description.abstract | Language is a system in which verbal or non-verbal codes are transferred to
communicate. Communication is a process that includes interchanging
information, messages, ideas, or feelings. The act of communicating extends not
only between people but also between people and the document (Shehab, 2011).
This seems to be some kind of interaction between the reader (learner) and the
document. Interaction occurs between a reader and a text when he or she constructs
meaning based on knowledge drawn from the text and partly on the reader's prior
knowledge. In other words, the interaction between learners and texts occurs when
learners rely on their background knowledge to understand the content of the text
to be conveyed. | vi |
