dc.description.abstractThe trends of Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) innovating the EFL scene have been a hot topic for both researchers and educators of English. Emerging technology seeks to improve learners’ vocabulary acquisition and reading competency through digital flashcards and games. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of theQuizlet app on developing students’ reading comprehension skills. Participants are language learners at the preintermediate level at a private english center in Ho Chi Minh City. The research utilizes a mix-methods design; the study involved three data collection tools tests (pre-and posttest), a questionnaire, and interviews. The post-test group results show that the experimental group outperformed the control group in the TOEIC Readingtest. Data from the questionnaire also indicated that learners have positive motivation towards Quizlet, and the approach to teaching vocabulary using Quizlet was a success.
